If you are using HICAPS Connect version 4, you can connect to the Trinity Terminal via ethernet connection.
You can check which version of HICAPS Connect you are using by right-clicking on the HICAPS Connect icon in the taskbar, and clicking on Configure. In the window that opens, the version of HICAPS Connect can be seen at the bottom middle, next to the About button.
For older versions of HICAPS Connect, the Trinity Terminals connect via Serial over USB so they only require a standard Type A to micro USB cable (Picture below) which is plugged in to the back of the terminal. The terminal uses a standard default Windows Serial driver which is plug and play when the terminal is connected to the PC.
HICAPS Installation Technicians carry the USB cables with them and will install them on site if required. The microUSB cable plugs into the base of the terminal, while the standard Type A plugs into the PC.
